Biography
Gina A. Occhipinti graduated from University of California Santa Cruz and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Intensive Legal Studies. She subsequently attended San Francisco State and studied Women's Studies. Ms. Occhipinti obtained her Juris Doctorate from Monterey College of Law.
Ms. Occhipinti has acted as a support person for victims of domestic violence and assisted the victims in obtaining restraining order against their batterers since 1999. She simultaneously assisted local victims of other violent crimes by helping them recover benefits such as relocation costs and compensation for medical treatment and counseling. Continuing her work with victims, Ms. Occhipinti was introduced to the practice of personal injury over ten years ago. Since that time she has handled hundreds of personal injury claims and lawsuits. She has extensive experience dealing with claims adjusters and defense attorneys.
Ms. Occhipinti is an active Board Member of Women Lawyers of Santa Cruz County. She is a member of the Monterey County Bar Association and the Santa Cruz County Bar Association.
